Cast: Vishaal, Meera Jasmin, Lal, Raj Kiran, Suman Setty, Karupusamy.

The story is about Balu (Vishal), an engineering student who on a visit to his friend’s town, takes on the local dada Kasi (Lal) and also falls in love with his friend’s sister Hema (Meera Jasmine).

Enter the menacing village headman, Kasi(Lal). Balu crosses his path on a chance instance and a hurt Kasi decides to take his revenge on Balu. Kasi starts troubling Karthik’s family.

Besides, he also comes to know about Balu’s family. Balu is the son of Durai(Rajkiran), the head man of another village near Madurai. Kasi attempts a showdown with Durai but finds little success. Tired of Lal’s activities, Balu enters the ring and finishes him off.

Narration : The film is all about the hero bashing up the villain and the villain trying to take revenge on him. the director showed the single point story in a superfast screenplay in a entertaining manner. The seriousness of the duo on one side an dthe romance on the other has been deftly handled by Linguswamy.

The only sore point was there wasn’t enough comedy and the film became a bit too serious to watch. Meera Jasmine was a welcome relief and the songs seemed like a speedbraker. Vishal looks dark and handsome and excells in the fight sequences.

Meera looked as fresh as a jasmine in the film and carried the entire comedy on her frail shoulders. The film’s greatest plus point is undoubtedly Rajkiran who has come up with a stellar portrayal as the dignified head man who can roll up his sleeves and vanquish the villains in a jiffy.

Analysis : Full marks to Stunt master Kanal Kannan for the breathtaking sequence. the telugu audiences will definitely like his work.Camera work by Jeeva and Nirav Shah has captured the locations beautifully and Yuvan’s music has played a complementary role to perfection. The background score and rerecording are excellent.

The second half of the film more than makes up for the uneven tempo in the first half. All those who like mass films can watch it without a doubt. The film needs to be watched for the stunts and for the leading lady and should not expect too much comedy and good songs.
